For the first time since their marital woes went viral, actor Alwyn Uytingco shared photos featuring his wife, actress Jennica Garcia, and their kids.
The snaps showed the family of four enjoying their meals at a certain restaurant.
Alwyn captioned it with heart emojis.
Many netizens expressed delight about the two seemingly patching things up.
Recall that the couple surprised fans early this year, announcing their separation on social media.
Though later, Alwyn apologized to Jennica and their children.
Jennica, on her part, never said anything bad about Alwyn even after they broke up.
She even cleared Alwyn from several rumors, including one about him supposedly seeing other women.
The Kapuso star also denied allegations that their separation was brought about by financial difficulties.
Then last October, Alwyn took to social media to express happiness with his wife giving him the “wonderful gift of ‘second chance.'”
“Thank you, mahal, for not quitting on me. Thank you for letting me continue this life we started together. Thank you for giving me a wonderful gift of ‘second chance’, and one that I don’t deserve at all,” he wrote.
He added, “Just because the past is painful doesn’t mean the future will be. I will always be your Habibi. Till death do us part. I love you.”
In the same post, Alwyn admitted: “I don’t deserve my family. I don’t deserve a second chance... (but) I will do everything for another chance in this life and I will fight the good fight to retake my family.”
Prior, Jennica made headlines revealing that she and Alwyn are on speaking terms again after months of estrangement.
“I am very thankful to Jesus because he heard my prayers. He gave me what I was waiting for—Alwyn to come back for us,” she said. “He expressed his desire for family restoration.”
Recall that after four years of dating, the two stars tied the knot in an intimate secret wedding in 2014.
The following year, they welcomed their first child Athena Mori, then had their second baby named Alessi three years after.
