3 nabbed in QC buy-bust

Three individuals were nabbed after operatives of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) seized from them P408,000 worth of shabu during a buy-bust at Barangay Holy Spirit, Quezon City. Police Station (PS 4) Station commander Police Lt.Col. Jeffrey Bilaro identified the suspects as Jason Borja, 36, Jacqueline Descar, 40, and Gerald Padilla, 23.

According to the police report, operatives arrested the suspects at around 11:00 p.m. at Barangay Holy Spirit after a confidential informant reported about the illegal drug peddling activities of the suspects.

Police recovered from the suspects some more or less 60 grams of shabu worth P408,000 and buy-bust money.

Borja and Descar have previous cases for illegal drugs.

Borja, Descar, and Padilla will be charged for violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The seized pieces of evidence will be submitted to the QCPD Crime Laboratory Office for forensic examination.
