Linya Linya teams up with Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation (RMAF) for a limited-edition shirt collection inspired by the 63rd Ramon Magsaysay awardees
What do you believe in or fight for? In this day and age, people have become more expressive thanks to the internet and social media. Whether it’s truth-telling in media, alleviating poverty, protecting the seas, improving life through science and technology, or even peace-building, we all have a cause that we advocate.
Linya Linya, a homegrown brand that specializes in original, witty, and playful statement merchandise, collaborates with the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation (RMAF) for a new clothes collection inspired by the 2021 Ramon Magsaysay Award recipients from the Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Southeast Asia. The annual award is one of Asia’s highest accolades, often likened to the Nobel Prize, conferred to changemakers committed to building solutions on complex issues in various societies.
Each shirt design costs ₱799, proceeds of which will go to RMAF's Magsaysay Fund to increase the impact of the work of the awardees and other emergent leaders.

Protecting our seas
The shirt design takes from Roberto “Ka Dodoy” Ballon, a fisherman from Zamboanga Sibugay, who is recognized for his perseverance in leading his fellow fisherfolks to revive what once was a dying industry in his community. Ka Dodoy’s mission is to open the eyes of decision-makers to the state of the Filipino fisherfolks and reveal that the fishing industry needs support against the foreign threats on Philippine waters.
Truth-telling in media
The tee is dedicated to the independent media organization, Watchdoc, for its dedication and commitment to transforming Indonesia’s media landscape through investigative journalism, documentary filmmaking, and digital technology.
Eradicating poverty
Muhammad Amjad created the largest microfinance institution in Pakistan that has already helped millions of families across the Islamic Republic in South Asia. The top is in recognition of his efforts.
Improving lives through science
This is inspired by Firdausi Qadri of Bangladesh for being instrumental in the fight against cholera and typhoid by developing a more affordable vaccine.
Peace-building
A shirt that honors Steven Muncy for his humanitarian works, especially in helping refugees and displaced people in Southeast Asia rebuild their lives.
