Sotto's VP bid gets boost from Gov. Gwen's brother, former GSIS chief Winston Garcia

Senate President Vicente C. Sotto III on Friday. Dec. 10 got a boost for his vice presidential bid from Winston Garcia, brother of Cebu Governor Gwen Garcia.

Through Sotto’s Viber account, Garcia assured Sotto that ‘’we will help you’’ during the visit by presidential aspirant Senator Panfilo M. Lacson and Sotto in Cebu today where they attended the inauguration of the Partido Reporma headquarters.

` Also in attendance was former Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez, Partido Reporma founder,

"We will help you. You are our sentimental favorite. You are the most decent candidates. I hope the Filipinos will see through it,’’ Garcia told Sotto.

The Sottos are from Cebu.

Garcia, former Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) chief, is chairman of Cebu CFI Community Cooperative.
