Makati LGU gives free maintenance medicines to residents with hypertension

The Makati City local government announced on Friday that the city is providing free maintenance medicines to residents with hypertension as it continues to boost its health care services to the public.

In its Facebook post, the local government unit (LGU) said that Yellow Card holders in the city are entitled to get free maintenance medicines and that officials can deliver them door-to-door as an additional precaution against COVID-19.

The LGU also distributes free maintenance medicines for other health conditions as well as vitamins and minerals to its residents.

Meanwhile, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay earlier announced that the local government has already distributed P37,743,000 worth of gift certificates to senior citizens who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
