More than 300 residents of Marikina City were given free dermatology consultations, some even minor surgery, through the efforts of the local government on Thursday, Dec. 9.

Patients who benefitted from the project of Marikina City Vice Mayor Doc Marion Andres were also given free medicines.

Andres thanked the Philippine Academy of Dermatologic Surgery Foundation Inc., Rizal Medical Center, Department of Dermatology, Worldwide Cemetery Management Int'l Inc., and Brgy. Tañong village chairman Bob Pamisa for their support to the project.

Some of the residents who received their free consultation and treatment also expressed their gratitude through social media.
