Beauty queen Hemilyn Escudero-Tamayo pens sweet birthday message to husband Richard

Mrs. Tourism Universe 2021 Hemilyn Escudero-Tamayo has written a sweet birthday message to her husband Philippine Air Force Lt. Col. Richard Antonio Tamayo who celebrated his birthday on Dec. 9.

Dearest Richard,

I remember the first time we met through our common friend in JCI Manila. We had dinner and for some unknown reasons, you were a bit grumpy that night, and I was in a hurry to leave because I had another appointment. You asked for my calling card, and I gave it. I never thought you would send me a message but when I got home, to my surprise, you sent me a message. That's when I thought you were interested.

Time flies so fast. I'm so grateful that I married you, you’re such a kind, humble and generous person and most of all God-fearing.

I'm so proud of your achievements, you are not only a good husband and father, but a good leader as well.

You have given me two wonderful kids and an unconditional love, and I'm thankful for this. God put us together for a reason, so let us utilize this union to glorify him. Our life will definitely be a remarkable journey. We may have many challenges and changes, but one thing will always remain constant, that there is no one I’d rather have by my side than you. Looking forward to growing old with you. I love you infinity.
