Pasig areas to experience power outage on Dec. 11

There will be power outage from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11, in barangays Kapitolyo and Pineda in Pasig City, according to the Pasig City Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office (DRRMO) on Thursday, Dec. 9.

The outage will be due to the road widening and construction project of the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) - Ortigas link in the two barangays by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

The areas affected in Brgy. Kapitolyo include:

-A part of Brixton St. from United Street including a part of Fairlane Street; and tghese business establishments: Marina Sales, Inc., Lirafil Corporation, Pioneer Holding Equities Inc., A. Jacinto Printing Press, Zebra Holdings Inc., Ace Water Health and Spa Center, Pioneer Centre Inc., Mang Inasal - Kapitolyo, JRS Business Corporation, Devex Inc., Leenix Inc., IPM Realty and Development Corporation, DMCI - Fairlane Residences construction site, U.S.A Development Corporation, Aji-No Chinmi-Co Inc., and Conrad and Co. Inc.

-A part of West Capitol Drive and East Capitol Drive from Stella Maris St. to include Shine Special Education Center Inc., streets of Sta. Lucia and Sta. Fe, the Roman Catholic Bishop of Pasig and the Holy Family Parochial School of Kapitolyo Inc.

Specific areas affected in both barangays Kapitolyo and Pineda are:

-A part of San Francisco St. from F. Banaag St. to San Juan St. as well as San Isidro St.

-A part of Sta. Monica St. from F. Banaag St. to Stella Maris St., and Grains Handlers Philippines Inc. (KHRISCIELLE YALAO)
