DOH confirms 603 new COVID-19 cases

The Philippines added another 603 cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) to its running tally of infections since last year.

Based on the latest case bulletin, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country stood at 2,834,775, of which, 0.5 percent or 13,853 patients are still receiving treatment.

The DOH said 5,532 of the active cases have mild symptoms, 3,903 patients have moderate symptoms, 2,410 were severe, 738 patients were in critical condition, while 1,270 were asymptomatic.

Also, 156 new deaths and 1,047 more recoveries were logged on Sunday.

These brought the total number of deaths and recoveries to 49,386 and 2,771,536, respectively.

“Agad rin na magpabakuna upang makakuha ng dagdag na proteksyon laban sa COVID-19 (Also, get vaccinated immediately to get extra protection against COVID-19),” it added.
