Las Pinas gov’t conducts mobile vaccination

Las Pinas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar directed the City Health Office (CHO) to conduct mobile vaccination at the city’s youth center on Thursday, Dec. 2.

Aguilar said the CHO, in coordination with the city’s Social Welfare and Development Office, conducted vaccinations at the Bahay Pag-asa Youth Center.

She said around 15 minors, aged 12 to 17 years old, were vaccinated with the Moderna brand of vaccine by the CHO team.

Aguilar said the ward of Pag-asa Youth Center include minors who are homeless and rescued from the streets.

She said it is the city’s goal to protect the young population from COVID-19.

The mobile vaccination was part of the city government’s “Bakunahan sa Kabataan” and “Ligtas na Las Pineros, Lahat Bakunado”.
