JB Bersales' dream is to be an actor in mainstream showbiz but he has not found the right opportunity yet. For now, he enjoys being a social media influencer. (ay may influence!)
"Gusto ko talaga mag-artista. Gusto ko rin makapasok sa PBB. Maghintay po ako ng tamang panahon. Nagpapasalamat po ko na kahit papaano may mga brands po na nagtitiwala sakin," JB explains (magtiwala ka sa 'kin, tara bro!)
The 20-year-old Zamboangeno gets brand collaborations because of his achievements as a swimmer. (ay sisid tayo bro!)
"Swimming po talaga yung una kong kinahiligan. May mga medals na rin po ako sa mga nasalihan ko," JB says (mas interesado ako sa mga trunks kesa medals!)
The pandemic has affected his swimming trainings and schooling in Manila but it did not discourage him to pursue his passion. (sayang, ako sana bahala sa allowance!)
"Umuwi po muna ako sa Zambonga hanggat walang training. Natigil din po rin kasi ako sa senior high school. Nagtuturo po ako now ng mga kids how to swim," JB shares. (ay fly ako dyan bro!)
JB is also using his singing voice as an additional means of income: "Kinuha po ako ng isang events company para maging singer nila sa mga weddings and events. Isa rin po yan sa gusto kong ginagawa, yung kumanta." (ilabas na ang mic! )
In his recent guesting on our digital show, WTFu, he admitted that he would get invitations from gays every now and then: "Meron po sa social media, meron po sa personal. Minsan po, may maayos po akong nakausap. Trans po sya. Dinala po nya kami ng mga ka-team ko sa Baguio. May mga kasama rin s'yang friends nya." (ay tara bro, ihanda mo passport mo!)
