The Korean Film Council (KOFIC) released the list of the top-grossing films in South Korea for the month of November 2021.
In the 10 top-grossing films in South Korea for November, six are American films and four are from South Korea.
For November, 6,511,620 movie tickets were sold in South Korea, generating a total box office gross of 65.92 billion won (about $55.7 million). In October, 5,192,142 tickets were sold with a gross of 50.82 billion ($42.9 million).
Marvel Studios’ “Eternals” emerged as the No. 1 top-grossing film in South Korea in November. The movie sold 2.99 million tickets at the Korean box office in November and grossed $26.35 million with a revenue share of 47.33 percent for the month.
“Eternals” stars Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Don Lee (Ma Dong-seok), Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Harish Patel and Kit Harington.
Ranking second to 10th are “Dune,” “Perhaps Love,” “Spiritwalker,” “Tomb of the River,” “Encanto,” “Nothing Serious,” “Venom: Let There Be Carnage,” “The Addams Family 2” and “Dear Evan Hansen.”
