Bayanihan, Bakunahan in Binangonan orderly

More unvaccinated residents are expected to participate on the third day of the Bayanihan Bakunahan national vaccination campaign set by the government.

The office of Mayor Cesar Ynares said a total of 6,036 got vaccinated on the first of the three-day Bayanihan, Bakunahan. Out of the total, 5,111 got their first jab while 626 received their second dose. A total of 299 health care workers got their booster shot.

Russel Ynares, municipal administrator of the Binangonan municipal government, told Manila Bulletin that the local government expects the number to increase as the town targets 70 percent of the eligible population in order to achieve herd immunity.

On Monday, November 29, President Rodrigo Duterte witnessed the first day of the three-day mass vaccination at SM City Masinag in Antipolo City.
