Uniqlo x JW Anderson fall 2021 collection centers on 'The Tale of Peter Rabbit'

Uniqlo and JW Anderson’s latest link-up is all about country weekend living. For their fall 2021 offering, the partnership gets inspired by Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit and his cousin Benjamin Bunny.

The collaboration with the theme “British classics. Designed for life today” offers LifeWear’s innovative designs and Jonathan Anderson’s traditional take on Britain’s apparel. “For me this collection was really about embracing the season. I wanted something that felt very autumnal in a way and that also felt quite like autumn in the British countryside. I wanted it to feel comfortable and worn. Almost cozy in a way,” shares the designer.

In the capsule, you can see traditional tartan and accent stitching on the apparel that creates fresh contrast in an autumnal and winter color palette. Quilting and pieces in fleece can also be found in the collection which are perfect for escapes from the busy city. In addition to the apparel, home accessories are also added in the collection such as cushions and blankets.

The offering includes 10 items for women, 12 items for men, and five accessories. See some of the pieces below:
