Lexus launches video series for golf enthusiasts

Golf remains to be one of the more popular sports especially today since you can continue playing it safely outdoors. But for those who still can’t go and do a few swings, Lexus is bringing the golf course to you through Golf Driven, a series which features episodes on everything about the sport.

Golf requires a certain degree of expertise, skill, and discipline to be able to win in the game.“It is akin to our own Takumi master craftsmen who work with advanced technology to create exceptional Lexus vehicles that allow you to experience amazing every day.”

Golf Driven gives golf enthusiasts entertaining episodes where they can watch the country’s best golfers in action at the sprawling courses of Sherwood Hills Golf Club and Manila Southwoods Golf & Country Club.

In Episode 1, viewers can watch J3 Altea, the coach behind golf Olympian Yuka Saso, and Lexus Brand Ambassador Miguel Tabuena talk through his coaching methods accompanied by his students Daniella Uy and former Philippine National Golf team Mia Piccio with host Daniel Peters. To challenge the players, they play under a worst ball format, highlighting their ability to overcome tough shots set in signature holes of Sherwood Hills Golf Club.

In Episode 2, we get to see an exhibition between the first ever Filipina US LPGA Champion Jennifer Rosales and resident Ladies Philippine Golf Tour (LPGT) player Chihiro Ikeda where they talk about the thought processes and techniques they use during certain situations in a tournament such as visualizing putts on a downhill slope, what clubs they use to achieve shots, and how to avoid the bunker.
