Las Pinas gov't conducts feeding program for 700 children

The Las Pinas City government conducted a feeding program in Barangay CAA to about 700 children who received hot meals, bread, and face masks on Nov 5.

Mayor Imelda Aguilar said “Kusina ng Las Pinas, Kalinga sa bawat Las Pineros” was launched to reach out to the children in the city's barangays who are in need of nourishment and protection from the city government.

Aguilar said the city government will deploy a food truck that will go around the city's 20 barangays twice a week to provide children with nutritious food.

She said the “Kusina ng Las Pinas, Kalinga sa bawat Las Pineros" is a joint project of the city government and the City Nutrition Office under the supervision of Dr. Julio Javier.
