Of those who are still ill, 66 percent have mild symptoms, 15.41 percent were in moderate condition, nine percent have severe symptoms, 5.7 percent were asymptomatic, and 3.8 percent were in critical condition, the DOH said.
Also, the number of recoveries also jumped to 2,725,257 with 3,901 new recoveries.

“In the upcoming Christmas season, we expect people to go out more; hence an increase in mobility is expected. It is very important that while our mobility increases, we should continue to strictly adhere to our minimum public health standards,” said DOH Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire.
“We must also improve on the immediate detection of cases through early consultation, active case finding, and contact tracing and ensure that identified cases and close contact are immediately isolated or quarantined,” she added.
