The Paranaque City government announced the lifting of liquor ban in the city after the national government placed the Nation Capital Region (NCR) under Alert Level 2 from Nov. 5 to 21.
In its Facebook post, the Public Information Office (PIO) announced the lifting of the liquor ban in the city, but clarified that only establishments with updated permits will be allowed to sell and serve liquor.
At the same time, the PIO announced that minors aged 17 and below are now allowed to go out of their residences provided they are accompanied by their parents or guardians.
The curfew for minors aged 17 and below, from 10:00 pm. to 4:00 a.m., is still in effect.
The city government is encouraging all business establishments in the city to apply for a safety seal certification for them to qualify for additional 10 percent capacity.
Several business establishments are already allowed to operate at 50 percent capacity for indoor venue and 70 percent for outdoor venue.
For indoor venue, the city government said all customers aged 18 and above must be fully vaccinated as well as the employees, while those 17 years old and below must be accompanied by fully-vaccinated parents or guardians; and the implementation of minimum public health standards must be observed.
The city government also said venue for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions need to secure mayor’s permit before conducting an event.
