
Kemark Carino finally scored a basket in his third game in the B.League second division but it hardly mattered after the Aomori Wat’s were pounded 109-56 by the host Koshigaya Alphas Saturday, Nov. 6.
The former San Beda center converted a layup late in the first quarter of the match held at the Koshigaya City Gymnasium but the Wat’s were already down 26-8 against one of B2’s best teams.
Koshigaya ballooned its lead in the next three quarters and handed Aomori its worst loss in the Japanese league’s 2021-22 season.
Carino played nine minutes and grabbed four rebounds in his second B2 game for the Wat’s, who dropped to a 1-8 record.
Former PBA import Michael Craig had 13 points and seven rebounds for Aomori.
Craig Brackins made 20 points, six rebounds and seven assists for Koshigaya, which now has a 6-3 card.
