Jennylyn Mercado, Dennis Trillo share fertility, surrogacy journey

Newly-engaged couple Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo shared another milestone in their life through their latest vlog.

In there, they uploaded their fertility and surrogacy journey abroad.

According to them, their plan to have their first child together started three years ago when they decided to freeze specimens necessary for such.

Jennylyn admitted that during that time she felt like her body wasn't yet ready to carry another baby.

They tried the process twice, but failed in both.

Their friends then suggested that they should do it abroad.

So during the first part of the pandemic, the couple took the opportunity to pursue their plans.

After a lock-in taping, Dennis flew to Dallas where he deposited his sperm.

Later, Jennylyn went to Las Vegas for her fertility adventure.

There, she maintained a healthy lifestyle. She also took the medication needed.

Jennylyn shared that for three weeks, she had to inject different types of medicine three times a day in her lower abdomen.

Good thing, Dennis was there to show his support.

During their month-long vacation abroad, the Kapuso stars were able to harvest one excellent embryo.

So they started looking for the "perfect" surrogate mother that will carry their baby.

In fact, they were scheduled to sign the contract and do the implant last week of October.

However, they found out that they were able to get pregnant naturally, which is where the vlog ended.

A teaser of the next vlog showed the couple sharing the news to their loved ones that they're expecting.

Recall that some days ago, Jennylyn and Dennis announced that they'll be finally tying the knot, as well as, welcoming a new addition to their family.
