Ben&Ben's Paolo Benjamin Guico performs at fan's wake

Singer-songwriter Paolo Benjamin Guico of Ben&Ben honored a fan who passed away recently by performing at her wake.

Paolo performed several of his band's hits to pay tribute to 21-year-old Melanie Trinidad who died in a fire in Quezon City.

A certain Facebook user named Elise Danielle Delos Reyes shared how it came about.

"Bilang kaibigan mo, sobrang saya ng puso ko na natupad ko yung isa sa mga pangarap mo kahit sa huling pagkakataon," the online user wrote. "Alam mo ba, hindi ko inexpect 'to. Nung lumapit at nagmessage ako sa Ben&Ben at sa fan pages nila (Ben&Ben Scenarios at Ben&Ben Boost), ang sabi ko, kahit mapansin lang nila yung pubmat para sa donation drive namin para sa'yo. Kahit ipost lang nila yun sa mga social media accounts nila, sobrang laking bagay na for me... Pero sa sobrang bait nila, they went above and beyond. Nakausap namin ni Elizabeth sila Kuya Migs, Kuya Pao, Ate Pat, at Ate Agnes."

"Tapos ayan, dumaan si Kuya Pao at yung parents nila ni Kuya Migs. Inalayan ka pa ni Kuya Pao ng apat na kanta!"

Among tracks that Paolo performed for the late fan are "Dahilan," "Leaves," "Magpahinga," and "Araw-araw."
