Noli de Castro back on radio

Seasoned broadcast journalist Noli de Castro is returning to his TeleRadyo program "Kabayan" on Nov. 8.

The announcement came several days after he withdrew from the 2022 senate race.

Recall that last month, Noli bid ABS-CBN goodbye going on to announce his political plans.

However, less than a week later, his daughter, PTV4 General Manager Kat de Castro, released a statement about her dad withdrawing his candidacy.

Meanwhile, on Instagram, Noli announced his return.

"Salamat po, sa kaunting pagkakataon na ma-enjoy ko ang beach, bago bumalik muli sa Teleradyo sa Lunes, kita kits kabayan," he wrote.

ABS-CBN management also issued a statement on the matter.

“Natutuwa kami at magbabalik sa Teleradyo si Noli de Castro para ipagpatuloy ang kanyang tunay na misyon, ang maglingkod sa kapwa Pilipino sa pamamagitan ng kanyang programang Kabayan. We welcome him back in ABS-CBN with open arms,” they said.

Aside from “Kabayan,” Noli will also co-anchor “TeleRadyo Balita” with Joyce Balancio.
