Star Magic Record's AC Bonifacio launches first single 'Fool No Mo'

Something new is popping for the new gen Dance Princess!

After wowing netizens and personalities alike with her versatility and gaining following in various platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube through her powerful dance covers, she has always been about leveling up. This same achiever personality, coupled with her undeniable talent, has allowed her to gain the attention of internationally renowned acts such as Selena Gomez, Cardi B, B.I, Black Pink, and BTS. Earlier this year, she delivered an amazing performance as Star Vixen on the hit TV series Riverdale.

Donning a new hat this time, on top of being a dancer, actress, host, and vlogger, AC is all set to conquer the stage as a singer and composer. Marking her foray into the music scene is the release of AC’s first-ever single “Fool No Mo” under Star Magic Records.

The song, which is composed by Jonathan Manalo and Trisha Denise, talks about the kind of love that leaves someone with nothing--the kind of love that fizzles out as quick as it blazes. Aside from adding her musicality on the song, the young singer also made sure to push the envelope further by composing the song’s its rap portion and by doing the back-up vocals herself.

“I am so excited to be part of Star Magic Records and to finally release music. It’s something that I definitely wanted to do for a while now. Pero ayoko po kasi yun biglaan and yung hindi ako,” AC explained.

Floored and grateful, AC, however, stressed that creating the song has been a team effort, especially for her part, since she admits to needing guidance as she’s no expert in rapping and writing songs.

“It sounded so different when it was given to me in July. But what I love about working with Star Magic Records and Sir Jonathan Manalo is that they are very collaborative. We really took the time to make the song to be how we wanted it to be,” she described.

AC is the first artist to be launched under the newly-established Star Magic Records, a sub-label of Star Music. With the aim of diving deeper, discovering more potential, developing talent even further and shedding new light once again to make star magic artists shine even brighter. This time, you can HEAR the magic.

The grateful teen star couldn’t mask her gratitude as she embarked on a new journey as an artist. This time, AC is all set to show the public that she’s capable of reaching new heights and pushing her limitations.

A fulfillment of one of her personal goals, “Fool No Mo” isn’t just a song for AC. It’s also a shining reminder that when you dream big and work hard, bigger things will eventually find their way to you.

Star Magic Records´debut into the music scene together with AC is only the beginning of the journey towards a fresher take on musicality and artistry as more promising performers and exceptional singers would be announced soon.

“Fool No Mo” is under Star Magic Records and will be available for streaming on all digital platforms worldwide on Nov 5.
