Makati LGU readies Christmas gift bags for residents

The Makati City local government said that they are now readying the gift bags to be distributed to its residents as Christmas draws near.

The LGU’s annual “Pamaskong Handog” program aims to provide the city residents with food and other freebies during Christmas.

In a Facebook post, the LGU said that each gift bag contains two Makatizen shirts, three cans of corned beef, two cans of Spam, two cans of Vienna sausage, ingredients for spaghetti and other pastas, and ingredients for fruit salad.

The LGU also announced the schedule and venues for each barangay for the distribution of the tickets to be used in claiming the gift bags for senior citizens, solo parents, 4Ps beneficiaries, barangay employees, Tricycle Operators Drivers Association (TODA) and Jeepney Operators Drivers Association (JODA) members.

The schedule for the opening of satellites and mini satellites for distribution of gift bags in each barangay can be found in Makati's official Facebook page.

The LGU reminded its citizens to observe the public health and safety protocols in claiming their tickets and gift bags.
