LPA to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of Luzon, Visayas - PAGASA
Cloudy skies with rain showers and thunderstorms may affect parts of Luzon and Visayas due to a low pressure area (LPA), the state weather bureau said Thursday, Nov. 4.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) is currently monitoring an LPA last spotted 580 kilometers east of Borongan City, Eastern Samar.
However, the weather disturbance has a slim chance of developing into a tropical cyclone, weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said.
Aurelio added that the northeast monsoon or “amihan” continues to affect the Luzon landmass.
Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms may be felt over Albay, Sorsogon, Catanduanes, Masbate, Palawan, Northern Samar, Samar, and Eastern Samar due to the weather disturbance.
State meteorologists warned against possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.
Mindanao and the rest of Visayas may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, meanwhile, may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the prevailing amihan.
