Is Gal Gadot playing Evil Queen in Disney's live-action film 'Snow White'?

From Princess of the Amazons to Evil Queen?

It looks like Gal Gadot is shifting costumes from an Amazon warrior to a classic fairy tale villain as she is in final negotiation to play the Evil Queen in Disney’s live-action remake of “Snow White.”

According to Deadline, insiders report that “the live-action film will expand upon the story and music from the original.” Disney fans know that the 1937 movie “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” is the film that started the mega film studio’s success in animated features. And with the past live-action reimaginations of its classic, doing one for its inaugural animated film is not far from happening.

If Gal jumped in to play the wicked character, she will be acting alongside “West Side Story” star Rachel Zegler, who is poised to bring life to Brothers Grimm fairy tale princess. With production expected to begin in 2022, the upcoming version of “Snow White” will be directed by Marc Webb, the filmmaker behind “The Amazing Spider-Man” and “500 Days of Summer.”
