Herbert Bautista on Kris Aquino's engagement: 'Hindi ko alam na ikakasal na siya'

Senatorial aspirant former Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista said that he's happy about the engagement of Kris Aquino and Mel Sarmiento.

Bautista however said that he's not aware that Kris is getting married.

"Masaya ako dahil yung peace and quiet ... yung ang hinahanap niya eh. Happy ako sa kanya," said Bautista.

He added: "Hindi ko alam na ikakasal na siya pero happy ako sa kanya. Hindi ko naman kasi sinsundan yung social media niya."

Bautista made the reaction during a lunch with the entertainment press in Quezon City on Nov. 4. The actor-politician is running for the Senate in the 2022 national election.

Aquino and Bautista are the best of friends for seven years.

Many believe that the two personalities were in a serious relationship. However, not one of them would admit it publicly.
