Aiko Melendez on removal of her tarpaulins: 'Sana lumaban po tayo ng patas'

Actress-politician Aiko Melendez has expressed dismay over the removal of her tarpaulins in Quezon City.



On Instagram, Aiko uploaded the proof where the act of removing the tarpaulins was caught on video.



"Paano tayo magiging mabuting leader ng QC kng nagbibigay tayo ng masamang ehemplo sa mga tao po," she wrote. "Hindi ung kakaunti na nga lang po ang tarpulins ko binabaklas nyo pa po. Na kusang nilalagay ng mga taong sumusuporta sa akin tinatanggal nyo pa po, Dahil ba kayo ang naka upo? Dahil kayo ang makapangyarihan sa barangay Kaligayahan? Dahil kayo ang asa administrasyon? Sana naman po lumaban po tayo ng patas po."



The seasoned star, who filed a certificate of candidacy for councilor in Quezon City last month, continued: "Nakuhaan po namen ng video ang L300 na nagbabaklas utos daw ng kinauukulan. Sana lumaban po tayo ng patas. Kasi kandidato naman tayo pare parehas na gustong maglingkod at magpakita ng magandang ehemplo sa Quezon City... Sa mga ka distrito ko na inuutusan ng mga me kapangyarihan sa posisyon para magtanggal ng tarpulins ko, Pag mali po ang utos wag sundin dahil labag po yan sa batas. Laban lang po parehas."

In another post, Aiko reiterated her purpose for running for public office.



"Ang tanging kagustuhan ko po lamang ay ang magsilbi, tumulong at makapaglingkod sa aking mga ka distrito at hindi magkaroon ng kasamaan ng loob kahit kanino man...," she reiterated.



"May mga tao na po na tumatawag sa akin na nakiusap dahil naaapektuhan na sila sa mga sinabi kong pag tatangol sa mga taong sumusuporta sa akin na Gumagastos para ipakita ang kanilang pag mamahal at malasakit. Para sa ikakatahimik ng lahat ..ako napo ang nag papakumbaba kahit kakampi ko ang katotohanan... Sana po mapanatili natin ang katahimikan at kaayusan ng halalan na darating ng walang nilalabag na karapatan nino man.. Salamat."
