Sara tells Waray voters to vote for BBM-Sara tandem

The Uniteam of Presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. and his Vice Presidential running mate Inday Sara Duterte on Tuesday, Nov. 30, toured across Eastern Visayas to gain the support of the Waray voters.

Duterte-Carpio, Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD) Chairperson, called on the Waray communities to support Marcos in next year’s presidential elections during a short stop at St. Mary’s Gym in Barangay A, Borongan City, Eastern Samar.

“Nakikiusap ako na kapag bomoto tayo, Bongbong-Sara. Na kapag pumili tayo, Bongbong-Sara kasi magagawa ko ang lahat ng trabaho bilang bise-presidente kung siya ang ating Pangulo. Magagawa ko ang lahat ng gusto na trabahong Duterte kung si Bongbong Marcos ang ating Pangulo, kaya sa araw-araw at araw ng eleksiyon, ang ating ay Bongbong-Sara (I'm pleading to everyone that when you vote make it Bongbong-Sara because I can do my job as vice-president if he is our President. I can do all the work as a Duterte if Bongbong Marcos is our President. So every day and in the coming election day, our shout should be Bongbong-Sara),” the incumbent Davao City Mayor told the crowd.

Accompanying the Presidential daughter in their Uniteam sortie was Lakas-CMD President and House Majority Leader Ferdinand Martin Romualdez.

Duterte-Carpio had earlier expressed belief that Marcos’ gubernatorial experience is a big advantage in addressing the country’s major problems if he is elected president.

“Bakit siya (Marcos) ang pinili ko na presidential candidate? Kasi para sa akin importante na naging governor, naging congressman, at isang termino na naging senador, importante sa ating lahat iyun (Why did I chose Marcos as my presidential candidate? For me it's important that he became a governor, congressman and a one-term senator, all of it is important to us),” Duterte-Carpio said.

The tandem gathered with Lakas-CMD officials and supporters in Borongan City where they inaugurated the Uniteam campaign headquarters and held a motorcade.

The Marcos and Duterte-Carpio duo was also set to hold a motorcade and sortie in Tacloban City late Tuesday.
