Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso earned the support of Angkas riders and members of the Young Entrepreneurs Supporting Isko Moreno (YES ISKO) for his presidential bid in the 2022 elections.

The Angkas riders and YES ISKO members gave their support to Domagoso’s presidential bid during the 158th birth anniversary of national hero Andres Bonifacio at the Liwasang Bonifacio in Lawton, Manila on Tuesday, Nov. 30.
Over 1,000 Angkas riders have worked with Manila in the past, specifically in August 2020, to facilitate the transportation of frontliners by offering free rides to and from the six Manila district hospitals, namely: Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center, Ospital ng Maynila, Ospital ng Sampaloc, Ospital ng Tondo, Sta. Ana Hospital, and Justice Jose Abad Santos Memorial Hospital Angkas also donated 1,000 backpack shields in an effort to reduce the risk of infection between driver and passenger.
The Angkas riders recently participated in the “Blue Wave caravans” in support of Domagoso’s presidential bid. The caravans were temporarily suspended by Domagoso’s campaign team until the first week of January 2022.
Meanwhile, members of YES ISKO have been urging Domagoso to run since September 2021 and the leaders of the organization even formed an alliance with Aksyon Demokratiko last Oct. 25.
