Pasig City begins Pamaskong Handog 2021 ayuda distribution

A total of 375,000 gift bags will be distributed to families in Pasig City as part of “Pamaskong Handog” 2021 which began on Monday, Nov. 29.

Pamaskong Handog is Pasig City’s annual holiday ayuda distribution. This year's gift bags contain spaghetti noodles, pasta sauce, chicken or beef luncheon meat, mixed fruit cocktail, sweetened creamer, chocolate drink mix, corned tuna, elbow macaroni pasta. and mayonnaise pouch set.

This year’s distribution will see an additional 15,000 gift bags for distribution compared to last year’s total 360,000 bags.

Each bag is worth P 625.67 for a total of P 234,625,000. In 2020, each bag was worth P 565.90 and totaled P 203,724,000.

“Patotoo ang Pamaskong Handog na posible ang paggogobyerno na pantay-pantay ang tingin sa bawat isa, kakampi man o hindi (Pamaskong Handog proves that equality in governance is possible, allies or not)," Sotto said in his Facebook post.
