Fernando optimistic that Bulacan will meet vaccination target


Governor Daniel R. Fernando is optimistic that the province will meet its vaccination target during the three-day “Bayanihan Bakunahan: Ligtas. Lakas. Buong Pinas” vaccination campaign of the national government.

Fernando said vaccination sites are open to all Bulakenyos who still do not have their first and second doses, as well as to the pediatric and adult populations, and for those who are qualified to receive their booster shots.

The province of Bulacan aims to inoculate 182,982 individuals from November 29 to December 1, 2021.

The inoculation venue for children ages 12 to 17-year-old is the Hiyas Pavilion ng Bulacan Convention Center until Dec. 1, while for adults, it is the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium until Nov. 30.

Dr. Hjordis Marushka B. Celis, director of Bulacan Medical Center, said that from the 98 vaccination sites in the province, the immunization site located at the Provincial Government of Bulacan targets to vaccinate 1,000 persons per day, the 21 municipalities aim to vaccinate 144,498 individuals, while the three cities eye to immunize 38,484.

Vaccination sites in each city and municipality in the province are posted on their official Facebook pages. The PGB also distributed Pamaskong Handog packages to all Bulakenyos who had their vaccine shots.
