'Christmas with the Stars' to help production workers affected by pandemic

As we all know, the live event and concert industry is one of the most affected industries since COVID-19 began last year.

Thousands of freelance live production professionals have been struggling to make ends meet.

In light of this, Ortigas and Company is partnering with ATeam (Alcasid Total Entertainment and Artist Management) to lend a hand in celebrating the Christmas season for our dear freelance production friends.

“Christmas with the Stars” will be an online fund-raising concert (streamed via ktx.ph) on Dec. 11, with 100 percent of its proceeds going to the IPWG (Independent Production Workers Group).

The members of the IPWG include, freelancers who work for live events and concerts. This will be a way to ensure that our friends who have worked behind the scenes in our shows and concerts will be able to celebrate the season with joy.

The show will be hosted by the “Kilabotitos”, Ogie Alcasid and Ian Veneracion, and will be participated in by some of the country’s top concert artists. Anthony Barion is the segment host.

Guests artists include: Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Dingdong Avanzado, Christian Bautista, Poppert Bernadas, Noel Cabangon, Ryan Cayabyab, Jose Mari Chan, The Company, Rj Dela Fuente, Krystle Moira Lacambra, Kuh Ledesma, Gian Magdangal, Lara Maigue, Lani Misalucha, Martin Nievera, Randy Santiago, Aicelle Santos, Gary Valenciano, and Maestro Ryan Cayabyab.
