Bongbong-Sara Uniteam to bring unity, reinforce trust and faith of Pinoys

The Uniteam of Presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. and Vice Presidential aspirant Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio will be looking to bring not only unity but strengthen the trust and faith of the Filipino people in the government leadership.

Marcos cited the importance of unifying all the leaders of the country and the entire people to hurdle the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The former legislator also stressed the need to reinforce the trust and faith of all Filipinos in order to continue and improve what the Duterte administration had already initiated.

“Ating pinaplano at ating iniisip, kung paano iaahon ang ekonomiya ng Pilipinas, kung papaano natin made-develop ang Pilipinas, kung papaano mapupunta sa Samar at maipagpapatuloy ang inumpisahan ni Pangulong Duterte na ‘Build, Build, Build’ na mas palalakihin pa natin, mas paiigtingin pa natin (What we are planning and thinking is how we can we bring up the economy of the Philippines, how we can develop the Philippines, how we can bring it to Samar and to continue President Duterte's ‘Build, Build, Build’ program which we want to bring up and strengthen),” said the former lawmaker, who was ecstatic with the huge turnout of crowds who welcomed the Bongbong-Sara tandem in their visit of Borongan, Eastern Samar on Tuesday, Nov. 30.

The former senator also called on the people to give importance and fortify the timeless values innate in every Filipino such as concern for others and solidarity even in times of crises.

“Kailangan ang una nating gawin ay ipagsama-samang muli ang bawat Pilipino, hindi nag-aaway, kundi nagtutulungan. Hindi nagsisisihan, kundi nagkakaisa para sa ating minamahal na bansa (First thing we have to do is to unite every Filipino. We need not fight but rather help one another. We shouldn't blame one another but instead we should unite for our beloved country),” the former Ilocos Norte congressman said.

Throngs of well-wishers and supporters sporting red and green t-shirts gathered to give a warm welcome to the Marcos-Duterte Uniteam when they visited Borongan, also known as the "City of the Golden Sunrise and Sunshine."

From the airport, the duo went straight to their Uniteam headquarters in Borongan before proceeding to a Uniteam rally slated in the Eastern Visayas province.

Marcos and Duterte-Carpio led a motorcade to show their gratitude to the warm reception and support of Boronganons to their tandem in the capital city of Eastern Samar.
