QC gov't submits two schools for pilot testing of face-to-face classes

The city government of Quezon City has submitted two schools for the pilot testing of face-to-face classes.

Mayor Joy Belmonte said that included in the application is a public school in Payatas and another in Barangay Bagong Silangan.

"Because these schools are near where the children live, the children don't have to ride public transportation to get to the schools," Belmonte said in an interview with ANC on Wednesday.

"We chose the schools that are easiest for children to get to without having to risk their safety," she added.

President Rodrigo Duterte has approved the Department of Education’s pilot run on the resumption of face-to-face classes starting Nov. 15.
