PRC warns public vs giving personal info to unknown third parties

The Philippine Regulation Commission National Capital Region (PRC-NCR) warned the public against giving personal information to third parties when creating online accounts.

"Your personal accounts and information are at risk of being used by these individuals without your knowledge or consent," PRC-NCR said in an advisory.

"These individuals may even assume your professional identity for their own purposes," it added.

The agency advised the public to direct their concerns to the creation and access of PRC accounts to [email protected].
