Muntinlupa LGU opens all sites for National Vaccination Days


The Muntinlupa City government said all vaccination sites in the city are open for the National Vaccination Days from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1.

The three-day program aims to vaccinate at least nine million Filipinos or three million people per day with the first dose to increase vaccination outputs to 70 percent of target populations.

According to the Muntinlupa City Health Office, the major vaccination sites that are open from 8 a.m. to 5 a.m. during the three-day campaign are SM Center Muntinlupa. Ayala Malls South Park, Festival Mall, Cupang Health Center, and Sucat covered court.

The satellite vaccination sites that will operate from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. are the Buli Health Center, Bayanan Elementary School Unit 1, Poblacion Health Center, Biazon covered court at Southville 3, and Victoria Homes Health Center. The city-run Ospital ng Muntinlupa is also open for vaccination.

All major and satellite vaccination sites, except Festival Mall, will administer first doses using Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinovac, and AstraZeneca vaccines for all priority groups.

Booster shots will be given by selected vaccination sites. These are Pfizer-BioNTech at SM Center Muntinlupa, Sinovac at Cupang Health Center, Moderna at Sucat covered court and Festival Mall. Ospital ng Muntinlupa will only administer vaccines for Pediatric A3.

Private companies that will conduct simultaneous vaccination for minors aged 12 to 17 and booster shots are Fast track Logistics, Concepcion Industries, Synchrony, and Asian Hospital.

In addition, the Muntinlupa City government will send a vaccination team to help in the inoculation in Cabuyao, Laguna.

As of Nov. 26, 409,637 individuals in Muntinlupa have received their first dose, or 106.2 percent of the target population of 385,725 (70 percent of the total population of 551,036).

In addition, 340,699 individuals are now fully vaccinated, or 88.3 percent of the target. The Muntinlupa City government has also administered 2,285 booster shots to date.

In total, 748,262 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Muntinlupa.
