The second day of Grammy nominee BTS’ “Permission to Dance on Stage-LA” concert had a special guest.
On Nov. 28, BTS held the second day of their in-person concert at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
During the “Butter” number, BTS surprised the estimated 53,000 fans in the stadium with the appearance of rapper Megan Thee Stallion, who was wearing a sexy pink outfit.
Last Aug. 27, BTS released the “Butter (feat. Megan Thee Stallion)” remix, which catapulted “Butter” back to No. 1 for the 10th time on the Sept. 11-dated Billboard Hot 100 chart.
BTS and Megan Thee Stallion were originally scheduled to perform “Butter” together at the 2021 American Music Awards (AMAs) but she backed out a day before the show due to a “personal matter.”
“Hotties I was so excited to go to the @AMAs and perform with @BTS_official, but due to an unexpected personal matter, I can no longer attend. I’m so sad! I really can’t wait to hit the stage with my guys and perform #BTS_Butter real soon!” according to Megan Thee Stallion. Her “real soon” turned out to be BTS’ concert in LA.
BTS opened the concert with “ON” followed by “Fire,” “Dope,” “DNA,” “Blue & Grey,” “Black Swan,” “Blood Sweat & Tears,” “Fake Love,” “Life Goes On,” “Boy with Luv,” “Dynamite,” “Butter,” “Airplane Pt. 2,” “Baepsae,” “Dis-ease,” “Telepathy,” “Stay,” “So What,” “Save Me,” “I’m Fine,” “IDOL,” “Epilogue: Young Forever,” “Spring Day” and “Permission to Dance.”
"Congratulations to the 53,000 beautiful people in front of me. I love you," BTS’ RM told the audience.
“Permission to Dance on Stage-LA” is BTS’ first in-person concert in two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The last time they performed before fans was in October 2019 when they held the “2019 BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself The Final” in Seoul, South Korea.
