In an advisory, NYC called on the members of the Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP), youth organizations Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), Local Youth Development Officers (LYDO), and Provincial Youth Development Officers (PYDO) to join the campaign on COVID-19 vaccination for minors and to actively participate in the government's effort to vaccinate 80 percent of the 12 million adolescents by year-end.

"The NYC, in support of the Department of Health's National Vaccination Days on November 29 to December 1, will launch the #KabataangMayJabGoodJob, on-line and on-ground campaign on vaccination of adolescents on November 29, 2021," NYC said.

The #KabataangMayJabGoodJab campaign aims to create awareness on the need to vaccinate minors against the virus and stresses the safety of COVID-19 vaccines for young people.

It also seeks to mobilize YORP members, youth organizations, LYDOS, and SK officials to assist NYC in the dissemination and promotion of the #KabataangMayJabGoodJob publicity materials by sharing them on social media platforms.

The national government is targeting to administer nine million doses of COVID-19 vaccines during the three-day "Bayanihan Bakunahan."
