Over P5-M worth of shabu seized in Tondo, Manila

Four drug suspects were arrested by the Manila police operatives in possession of over P5- million worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation in Barangay 194 Tondo, Manila on Friday, Nov. 26.

Manila Police Station 7 Drug Enforcement Unit (PS7-SDEU) identified the four suspects as Jose Dante Bartas Raymundo, 44; Robert Sacari Justiniani Jr, 30; Malyn Alexisse Farcia Ong, 25; and Romel Artuz Ortilano, 28.

The buy bust operation conducted by the PS7-SDEU at around 1 p.m. on Nov. 26 was led by Lt. Joan Dorado, while the arresting officers at the scene were Cpl. Arvic Valdez and Cpl. Richmond Morales.

About 750 to 800 grams of suspected shabu estimated to be P 5,440,000 in street value were seized during the operation and have been sent to the Manila Police District crime laboratory.

Meanwhile, the four suspects are currently detained at the PS7 custodial facility for inquest and a case of violations against RA 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act is being prepared against them with Cpl. Remedios Cruz as the investigator on the case.
