“We will continue to be the government’s ally when it comes to vaccination since the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) has the manpower, the resources, and the commitment to help protect against this invisible enemy that is the COVID19 virus. Together, let us win our war against COVID-19,” PRCChairman and CEO Sen. Dick Gordon said.

According to PRC Health Services, they aim to administer 53,670 doses for adults (providing primary and booster shots), and minors aged 12 to 17 in over 47 PRC Chapters through the operation of 17 “Bakuna” Centers targeting 15,850, 12 Bakuna Buses targeting 15,150, and 29 Bakuna Teams targeting 22,670.

The PRC will also deploy 600 volunteers nationwide made up of physicians for screening and monitoring and supervision, vaccinators, volunteers for registration, crowd control, and line management, and ambulance team members.

The PRC Vaccination Program is supported by International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies(IFRC), International Committee of the Red Cross(ICRC), Netherlands Red Cross, German Red Cross, corporate partners; namely Procter & Gamble, and Coca Cola, and Bakuna Bus partners; Victory Liner, Ceres Bus, and UBE Express.
