Fire hits hotel under construction in Pasay City

A fire broke out at a hotel under construction in Pasay City Friday night.

The fire started on the fifth floor of Okura Hotel undergoing construction in Barangay 183, New Port Boulevard.

The Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP) said the fire started at about 9:04 p.m. and was immediately placed under control at 9:13 p.m.

The BFP said damage to property was placed at P75,000 and no one was reported injured in the incident.

Probers have yet to establish the cause of the fire.
