Antipolo LGU gives tax relief to private schools for business permit renewal

All private schools in Antipolo City are again exempted from paying taxes related to the renewal of their business permits with the city government.

Mayor Andrea Bautista Ynares announced on Facebook that the local government is once again waving the fees, taxes, and charges on business permit renewal for private schools operating in Antipolo City for 2022.

Ynares said the giving of relief in paying taxes for all private schools could help the private educational institutions in the city to recover the losses incurred as a result of the pandemic.

The city government also waived the payment of taxes on business permit renewal of private schools in 2021.

However, the local government said private schools are not exempted from paying the Fire Safety Inspection Fee that is being required by the Bureau of Fire Protection and the Barangay Clearance Fee that is being collected by the barangay, in renewing their business permit for 2022.
