Mayor Isko tests negative for illegal drugs

Presidential candidate and Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso tested negative for illegal drugs after submitting himself to a test on Thursday, Nov. 25.

Domagoso and his running mate Doc Willie Ong were tested at the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) National Headquarters in Quezon City on Thursday.

“I have never been into drugs, maski solvent o ano pa. I have nothing to hide,” the Manila mayor had earlier said.

"Tama naman yung mga tao, pag ikaw ay president at ikaw ay drug-user, how can you fight against drugs?" he added.

On Wednesday, Nov. 24, the Aksyon Demokratiko senatorial slate also said they will undergo drug testing to prove their sincere intentions to serve the public.

President Duterte had earlier revealed that one of the presidential aspirants has used cocaine.

Senator Panfilo M. Lacson and former Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. had already underwent voluntary drug testing to prove that they are drug free.
