Fire hits ship at Navotas fish port

A ship caught fire at Navotas Fish Port Complex, Pier 3 in Navotas City on Thursday afternoon.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Public Information Office, the fire reached the 1st alarm at around 1:32 p.m. and was declared under control at around 2:06 p.m.

The BFP declared the fire out at around 2:16 p.m.

Investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fire. No injuries or casualties were reported.

As of this posting, authorities have yet to release further information about the vessel.
