CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro – A Facebook post by a netizen showing tarpaulin posters of presidential aspirants Vice-President Leni Robredo and former Senator Bongbong Marcos displayed separately in the façade of the same two-storey house in Mansalay town has become an instant trending hit in social media in Mindoro.
50-year-old Rustico Mortel Generoso said the poster downstairs showing Senator Marcos was put up by his father thru the help of some senior citizens in their barangay while the poster upstairs was donated by his (Rustico’s) friend.

Generoso said his father and an uncle are apparently pro-BBM while he and another uncle are pro-Leni including, the workers of the bakery beside the BBM signage.
Generoso said his father was a former vice-mayor during the martial law years but was removed from his post after the EDSA people power in 1986.
He said the posters, which brought more filial respect among them in the family despite friendly teasing, will not be removed until election next year.
