Bulacan logs zero COVID death, declining cases


The Provincial Health Office (PHO) in Bulacan reported zero COVID-19 related deaths in the province on Wednesday, Nov. 24, and a continuing decline in the number of active COVID-19 active cases.

The PHO said that from 1,060 COVID-19 active cases on Nov. 1, it dropped to 698 on Nov. 17, to 605 on Nov. 23, and to 588 on Nov. 24.

Out of the total 88,840 COVID-19 cases in the province, 86,805 or 98 percent have recovered.

No additional deaths were recorded. The provincial death toll due to COVID-19 remains at 1,447 with case fatality rate at 2 per 100 confirmed cases.

Of the 588 active cases, 39 are admitted in the hospitals, 113 are in a Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), while 436 are in home isolation.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando warned Bulakenyos not to be complacent and to still wear face masks when going out of their homes and strictly follow health protocols.
