All 'Blue Wave Caravans' postponed during holiday season -- Team Isko

All "Blue Wave caravans" will be postponed during the holiday season, Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso's campaign team announced on Thursday, Nov. 25.

According to Aksyon Demokratiko's campaign strategist Lito Banayo, the cancellation of the caravan was to avoid the traffic congestion that usually occurs during the Christmas season.

“We do not want to add to the burden of our motorists who are already complaining of heavy traffic after the alert status in Metro Manila and other areas were de-escalated to Level 2,” said Banayo.

The postponement of the “Blue Wave” caravans will start Thursday, Nov. 25 until the first week of January 2022.

“We are aware that with the mad rush for shopping in malls and in places like Divisoria, we can expect monstrous traffic jams. Hence, the cancellation of all motorcades of our supporters beginning today until the first week of January 2022,” said Banayo.

The Blue Wave caravan is a show of support for Domagoso's presidential bid.
