Two persons were injured when two vehicles collided along Quezon Avenue in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Quezon City on Wednesday night, Nov. 24.
The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) identified the victims as Bryle Mendoza, 21, driver of a Toyota Vios Sedan, and his passenger, Bernadeth Borja, 33.
The QCPD said that Mendoza was driving westward at a U-turn slot along the northbound lane at around 10:30 p.m. when a Toyota Fortuner behind them, driven by Edison Miranda, 41, from Bacoor Cavite, bumped the rear right part of their vehicle.
Upon impact, the victims' vehicle hit the center island, while Miranda’s car flipped on its side.
The cost of damage caused by the collision is yet to be determined, the QCPD said.
The victims were rushed to St. Luke's Medical Center for treatment while Miranda was unharmed.
