A member of Terrafirma’s PBA 3x3 squad collapsed after playing two matches in the tournament’s second leg held Wednesday, Nov. 24 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Roider Cabrera lost consciousness inside the locker room following Terrafirma’s twin victories over Meralco and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel before he was immediately rushed to nearby Medical City.

Cabrera had just played a starring role for Terrafirma in those two wins when the incident occurred.

His condition remains unknown as of posting time.

The 30-year-old was the main reason for Terrafirma’s impressive start in the second leg, sparking a huge comeback to complete a 17-14 win over Meralco.

Terrafirma signed Cabrera, who was known for his UAAP days with Adamson and previously played for the Dyip in the standard PBA competition.

He also waxed hot from two-point land with his one-footed attempts to help Terrafirma defeat Ginebra in overtime, 19-17.

Cabrera’s collapse came hours after Purefoods’ Val Acuna was stretched out of the venue after colliding with Platinum Karaoke’s Chris de Chavez.

Acuna was later diagnosed with a broken jaw.
